Q: How do we choose an appraiser?
A: The appraiser you choose should have a Nevada State license, be familiar with the Las Vegas valley real estate market and have references you can call to verity the appraisers work ethics. You must feel that the appraiser is qualified, experienced and attentive of your needs.
Q: What will the appraisal cover?
A: A thorough appraisal of the entire property from the foundation up.
Q: How long will the Appraisal take?
A: Most appraisals require a 15 to 35 minute inspection at the residence, followed by the research and selection and inspection of comparable properties that have recently sold in the area and the preparation of the report. The process usually takes a total of two days.
Q: Should I be present during the Appraisal?
A: We recommend that you be present at the appraisal inspection from start to finish. However, if it is not possible for you to be there and the property is on lock box we can do the appraisal with prior authorization.
